Berlin-born Coco Calypso is a DJ, vocalist, producer and performer, one of the rare Caribbean voices in Germany's music scene, and one of the first to bring bouyon to a German speaking audience.

Drawing on her heritage from Martinique and a childhood shaped between Berlin, Paris and London, her sets are fuelled with high impact underground sounds merging Afro Caribbean and Latin rhythms with bass heavy club music, gritty electronics, R&B, rap and UK soundsystem culture. Each set is steeped in diasporic energy and carnival tradition, sexy and confrontational in equal measure, built to move a room and hold it.

With an undeniable live presence, Coco has graced huge stages globally such as Fusion Festival, Boiler Room Berlin, ADE, Les Plages Électroniques and CTM, with live radio sets on Rinse France, HÖR Berlin and Foundation FM, plus club nights at RSO, Else/Renate (Berlin) and La Machine du Moulin Rouge (Paris)

Stepping into her era as full fleshed Artist and Vocalist, Coco has released two singles: "Pull Up," a ghetto-tech, footwork-inspired tribute to Berlin nightlife, and "Lips," a bouyon-rhythmic track with German lyrics. Alongside her solo work, she co-runs PSYCHO CALYPSO, a label, DJ collective and party series exploring caribbean carnival club sounds that collide styles while repping her roots relentlessly.
