Akemi (a-kay-me) Fox is a singer-songwriter, with an ethereal style combining soft, emotive vocals, soulful sit-back beats, and sweet lyrics to craft her alternative R&B sound.

 

 Creating an other-worldly catalogue from her hometown Manchester, Akemi works with longtime Musician/producer Teo, having already released a string of singles and 2 EPs gaining over 3 million streams independently. Not to mention a spot on Tidals Rising R&B playlist, worldwide radio spins on BBC RADIO1, BBC6 music & Reprezent Radio (to name a few), and collabs/features with legend Moby, Children Of Zeus & Lenzman.

 

When not in the studio, Akemi & Teo fuse their love for fashion, music & collaboration, playing live shows for MCQ (by Alexander McQueen), Topshop, Children Of Zeus & Manchester International Festival. Recently featured in a recent MAN UTD ‘Made in Manchester’ Campaign,  and now signed to NQ Records, Akemi Fox is happy to set the tone for her city and continues to share the journey through her sound.
