Manchesters Afro Sam is an MC, producer and creative who has been spreading his sound since first performing in clubs at the age of 16; The M14 resident, part of local collective Free Wize Men, has since taken the stages of festivals all over Europe including Outlook (Croatia), Boomtown, Lemme Live (Belgium) plus solo shows and supports slots for Flohio, Pete Rock and Talib Kweli.

 

Since 2016, the 23 year old has created an impressive back catalogue of music, fusing hip-hop, grime, trap, and beyond including collaborations with Chimpo, Leaf Dog, and Layfullstop whilst his solo projects have gained radio support from BBC R1 XTRA, UNITY FM  & Reprezent Radio - as well as multiple write ups from Earmilk, Complex & Trench mag; his latest EP Baggie Eyes (released on blossoms owned label VeryCleverRecords) saw placements in ‘Grime Shutdown’ playlist on Spotify and ‘Grime 2.0’ on apple music.

 

Currently back in the studio and getting ready to launch the next line of Clothing brand PAK, Afro Sam continues to flaunt his effortless style and thought-out aesthetic through his instagram and movie-like visuals - stay tuned for more from the multi-disciplined creative.
