Old Trafford Afro Child, Katbrownsugar is a DJ, musician and radio curator who's been making waves with her future sounds since winning Mixcloud's Rising Star and Best Hip Hop/R&B/Afrobeats Show awards in 2018. With previous radio residencies on NTS and an album under her belt, KBS effortlessly blends hip hop, R&B, neo-soul and future sounds into her unmistakable style.

Launching her own radio station, Sweet Vibrations Radio, in 2020, KBS has since built a global platform championing emerging artists, selectors and soulful sounds from around the world, alongside curating her own live events and community-driven experiences. As a DJ, she's graced stages at Parklife, Manchester International Festival, COLORS Festival Paris and toured Soho Houses across Europe with Yendry, while partnering with brands including Nike x Footasylum, JD, Jägermeister and Nell's Pizza.

Most recently, KBS supported NE-YO and Akon at Manchester's Co-op Live, appeared alongside Apartment Life in Manchester, and continues to cement her reputation as one of the UK's most exciting selectors, with previous support slots and tour appearances alongside Ezra Collective, Children of Zeus and Kodie Shane. Wherever she plays, Katbrownsugar brings her signature stoney-sunshine soundtrack, where sweet vibes are always guaranteed.
