London Born, Manchester-based Meme Gold is a multidisciplinary artist, singer/songwriter slash DJ; previously an NTS radio and SwingTing resident, Gold has supported tours for Murkage Dave & Bree Runway, adding many more accolades to her musical CV in recent years. 

Meme Gold draws on her West African and Caribbean heritage with a DIY and no-rules approach to her work, fueling her world of creative-crossovers and translating to the wide-range of sounds in her record collection. Spanning Alt R&B & Afrotech to House, Jazz/Soul & everything in between, Meme Gold encourages us to be our own muse whilst playing stages across Manchester, London & Europe (more recently, Parklife festival MCR, Warehouse Project MCR, Lemme Live, Belgium & Printworks LDN). 

Constantly flowing from the world of fashion to music, Gold has featured in New Balance campaigns, billboards & a BBC documentary by Jamz Supernova and more recently has expanded her world into sound performance reasling a debut self-produced EP fusing Alt-Soul-folk, jazzy tones and introspective lyrics, plus a track with the late Lenzman on Note Records.
